The Central Coast is not a single market. Colour-coded microfibre and disciplined dwell times do the rest. Where a task is disinfection-critical, we retain TGA-listed disinfectants — we do not pretend otherwise.

Which sites benefit most

Every workplace benefits from lower chemical exposure, but some sites gain more than others.

The health and WHS case

Cleaning is not a low-risk occupation. The ECRHS study by Svanes and colleagues (2018) found lung-function decline in regular cleaners comparable to around 20 pack-years of smoking. The AIHW attributes between 9 and 15 per cent of adult-onset asthma to occupational exposure, and names cleaning as a high-risk occupation. Deloitte Access Economics puts the cost of asthma to Australian employers at $526.7 million a year.

The regulatory direction is clear too. From 1 December 2026, enforceable Workplace Exposure Limits (WELs) replace the current WES across roughly 700 reviewed chemicals. Under the WHS hierarchy of controls, elimination sits at the top — removing a hazard beats managing it with ventilation or PPE. Switching to methods with no added synthetic chemicals is elimination in practice, not a workaround. Ratings and building performance

What it costs

Honest answer: on standard scopes, we price at parity with conventional cleaning. There is no eco premium for a normal office or retail clean. On health-critical or rating-critical sites — where the method, documentation and product certification genuinely add work — you may see a 10 to 15 per cent difference.
