Eco Warehouse & Industrial Cleaning on the Gold Coast
Warehouses and distribution centres from Yatala to Arundel run on throughput, safety records and uptime — not on cupboards full of hazardous cleaning chemicals. GreenClean delivers industrial-scale floor and amenity cleaning across the Gold Coast using low-water equipment and methods that leave no hazardous residue, so you carry one less line on the site risk register.

Take a hazard off the register, not just the shelf
For a warehouse or industrial decision-maker, cleaning is rarely about appearance first. It is about forklifts on wet floors, chemical storage and decanting, WHS documentation, and keeping product and people safe. Conventional industrial cleaning quietly adds risk on every one of those fronts: concentrated acids and alkalis to store, decant and label, SDS folders to maintain, and residues that end up on floors, racking and loading docks.
The elimination approach removes the hazard rather than managing it. Under the WHS hierarchy of controls, elimination sits at the top for a reason — a chemical that is never brought on site cannot be spilled, mixed, inhaled or mis-stored. That matters more now that enforceable Workplace Exposure Limits (WELs) replace the current WES from 1 December 2026, tightening limits across roughly 700 reviewed chemicals. Sites that reduce their chemical inventory today are simply ahead of that curve.
The stakes for the people doing the work are real. Svanes et al. (2018) found lung-function decline in regular cleaners comparable to around 20 pack-years of smoking, and the AIHW attributes 9–15 per cent of adult-onset asthma to occupational exposure, with cleaning named as a high-risk occupation. For a facility that already takes safety seriously on the floor, extending that discipline to the cleaning cupboard is consistent, not radical.
How the methods work on an industrial floor
We match method to surface and task rather than reaching for a single strong chemical.
Electrolysed water (HOCl) is generated from water with a trace of salt. It cleans and, in its TGA-listed form, disinfects, then reverts to salt water. It is GECA-certified and leaves no hazardous residue on floors, benches or amenity surfaces.
Stabilised aqueous ozone handles general cleaning and deodorising across large hard-floor areas, then breaks back down to oxygen and water. Useful where odour control and volume matter — amenities, bin stores, break rooms.
Dry steam brings low-moisture thermal decontamination to grouted floors, machinery surrounds and hard-to-reach build-up without flooding a working area — a genuine advantage where forklifts and foot traffic cannot wait for floors to dry.
Colour-coded microfibre with disciplined dwell times keeps cross-contamination controlled across zones — offices, amenities, production and warehouse — without relying on chemical strength to do the work.
Where a task is genuinely disinfection-critical, we retain TGA-listed disinfectants. We say no added synthetic chemicals and no hazardous residue, and we do not claim chemical-free, because that would not be true or lawful.
The low-water advantage in a working facility
Gold Coast sites contend with coastal humidity and the mould pressure that comes with it, and warehouses are rarely fully climate-controlled. Traditional wet mopping and hose-down cleaning leaves standing moisture that slows re-entry, raises slip risk and feeds mould in poorly ventilated corners. Our low-water equipment cleans effectively while cutting dry-times and moisture load — floors are back in service faster and stay drier between cleans.
Ratings and reporting, if you need them
Many Gold Coast industrial and logistics assets are moving toward formal sustainability positioning. GECA-certified products are deemed-to-satisfy for the Green Star Green Cleaning credit. If your site pursues WELL, its Cleaning Products & Protocol feature targets hazardous-chemical reduction, and NABERS Indoor Environment testing looks at VOCs and formaldehyde — all areas where an eliminated-chemical program supports rather than undermines your score. What a Gold Coast program looks like
We build the scope around your operation, not a template. A typical program covers hard-floor cleaning and maintenance across warehouse and dispatch areas, amenity and break-room cleaning, office and mezzanine spaces, high-touch point disinfection, and periodic deep cleans for build-up in production zones and floor grout.
Frequency follows throughput and shift patterns — daily amenity servicing with scheduled floor programs is common for busy distribution centres, while lower-traffic storage sites may suit a lighter recurring visit with periodic deep cleans. Colour-coded zoning and documented dwell times mean the program is auditable, which helps when your own clients or head office review your site.
Pricing that does not punish the right decision
On standard industrial scopes, our pricing is at parity with conventional cleaning — switching methods should not cost you a premium. A modest uplift of 10–15 per cent applies only on health-critical or rating-critical sites where the specification genuinely demands more. The walkthrough and quote are free, so you can compare like for like before committing.

Frequently asked questions
Can eco methods actually handle a busy distribution centre floor?
Yes. Electrolysed water and aqueous ozone are used for cleaning and, in TGA-listed form, disinfection across large hard-floor areas, while dry steam tackles build-up around machinery and grout. We match the method to the surface and task, and retain TGA-listed disinfectants where a job is disinfection-critical.
Will switching reduce our chemical storage and SDS burden?
That is one of the main reasons industrial sites make the change. Fewer concentrated chemicals on site means less to store, decant, label and document, which lightens your SDS folder and removes hazards from your risk register. It also positions you ahead of the enforceable Workplace Exposure Limits taking effect from 1 December 2026.
How does low-water cleaning help on a Gold Coast site?
Coastal humidity keeps moisture and mould pressure high, and standing water on warehouse floors raises slip risk and slows re-entry. Low-water equipment cleans effectively while cutting dry-times, so floors return to service faster and stay drier between cleans.
Does eco cleaning cost more than what we pay now?
On standard industrial scopes our pricing is at parity with conventional cleaning. A 10–15 per cent uplift applies only on health-critical or rating-critical sites where the specification demands it, and the walkthrough and quote are always free so you can compare directly.
Can this support Green Star, WELL or NABERS goals for our facility?
Yes. GECA-certified products are deemed-to-satisfy for the Green Star Green Cleaning credit, the WELL Cleaning Products and Protocol feature targets hazardous-chemical reduction, and NABERS Indoor Environment testing covers VOCs and formaldehyde. An eliminated-chemical program supports each of these, and we can document dwell times and zoning to make your cleaning auditable.
